Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

A major plus of this seat is that it can hold babies that are just 5 tiny pounds all the way up to 30 pounds.
The 5-point harness can be adjusted to one of three positions so that the straps are even or a little below your child’s shoulders.
Has an EPS energy-absorbing foam, the seat has commendable side-impact and head protection to rely on.
The Baby Trend Infant Car Seat base is relatively easy to install – both by the LATCH and car seat belt.
The seat’s height, unlike others, can be adjusted with the push of a button, and quick adjustments can be made on the fly to accommodate your baby’s growth.

What reviewers didn't like

But Baby Trend dropped the ball again on the buckling system and handle, which can be a nuisance to use.
Different adjustment procedures based on model
One thing that you might find challenging is that you have to put the two pieces of the buckle together as per the diagram.
