Expert Reviews
What reviewers liked
We switched out this new Bosch dishwasher for one we had for 10 years. Very easy with clear instructions on installation. Also, ABT made it super easy and delivery was on time. Highly recommend ABT for your appliance needs.
This machine is so quiet that most people will barely be able to hear it running. The one-hour wash-and-dry option is unique at this price
And if you're in a condo building, you'll appreciate the 800 Series' leak-prevention setup. Bosch call it AquaStop, and it’s a system that shuts down the operation and pumps the water out if it detects a leak, even if the dishwasher isn’t running.
It also includes a double-flex silverware basket, plus one of the best small, extra features G+S has fallen in love with: a red light that shines on the floor to show you that the unit is running.
Displays remaining time
With a noise rating of 42 decibels, this dishwasher is quiet enough for most homes, and you should easily be able to hold a conversation while standing next to it.
The great feature that is implemented in this appliance is the self-latching door. The moment you close the door and you press the start you don’t need to worry that somebody accidentally will open the door.
What reviewers didn't like
I like this dishwasher when it works -- but after only about 6 months it started showing an "E24" error message. No clue in the manual about what this means or how to fix, but after having it stop mid-load over and over again, and trying several trouble-shooting things ourselves,
The most common complaint about Bosch dishwashers (and condenser-dry dishwashers in general) is that they aren’t very good at drying plastics. Plastic cools off too fast for the moisture to get a chance to evaporate on its own at the end of a cycle.
The price is relatively high, but the cost is reasonable – considering the fact that you probably won’t find a better choice on the market.
