Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

One major plus with the Snugapuppy Cradle ‘n Swing is that it comes with an AC adapter, so it can be plugged in or it can run on battery
-
There are also 16 types of music and nature sounds you can play to help calm your child. You won't have to listen to the same thing over and over again since there is a wide variety of sounds to choose from.
The Snugapuppy rocks side-to-side or back-to-front, depending on your baby’s preferences, and its SmartSwing Technology senses baby’s weight and starts rocking without a single push.
The swing’s music, sounds, and mobile all shut off automatically after 20 minutes, which might be appealing for people who tend to use the battery option.
It Comes With 2 Comfy Recline Positions: This swing allows you to adjust the seat position to let your baby enjoy great comfort.
- The Z9
Fisher-Price cradle and swing has SmartSwing Technology. It offers a wide range of speeds from high to low so you can find the perfect motion for your baby.
This swing comes with varying speed levels, from low to high. As your baby uses it, you will be able to determine which motion and speed your little one likes the most
This product comes with seat and head foams to enhance better padding for your baby.
-
2 swing directions from side to side and from head to toe, together with 16 songs and natural music helps soothe fussy baby. It has 6 swing speeds to fit your baby’s different preference.
Baby safety comes first, and the Fisher-Price Sweet Snugapuppy Dreams Cradle ‘n Swing observes this by having a 5-point safety harness to keep the baby secure and safe as they swing or reach the toys. It’s also strong and all the materials used and included toys are safe for your baby.
The legs fold up for portability and storage, and it now includes a plug-in adapter to save yourself a lot of D batteries (it can also run on 4 D batteries if you choose, but we prefer it as a swing AC-powered).
You can also count on 2 comfy recline positions, as well as 6 swing speeds and 16 soothing songs & nature sounds. Ah, and it’s also machine washable.

What reviewers didn't like

One major downfall of the Snugapuppy Swing is that it makes loud, grinding noises when in operation. Some babies may benefit from this sound as some find the constant noise soothing, just as some babies benefit from loud white noise machines. But if your baby or other people in your house are easily disturbed by sound and prefer peace and quiet, you may find the loudness problematic.
-
This swing has a large base; if you have a smaller space, it may be too large to comfortably fit
Its major drawback is its size: It’s hefty, with a wide base, and takes up quite a bit of room so make sure you measure before adding this to your registry.
The legs can be partially collapsed for transport or storage, but because the seat is a hard plastic shell, unlike the all-fabric seats of our other picks, this model is still too bulky and inconvenient to move around frequently
The buttons on the fisher price cradle ‘n swing might get faulty and not make proper contact with the circuit button switches. May need to realign buttons
Little difficult to assemble
It lacks of vibration, but the noise can be much lower.
It’s not fully collapsible. The legs are partially collapsible, but the seat is made of hard plastic as opposed to all fabric options, thus more bulky
The motor did make a subtle clicking noise sometimes, and when not plugged in it burns through batteries pretty quickly
