Just be mindful that if you have a Kamado style smoker then you will need to get the Flame Boss Kamado controller, and not the Universal Flame Boss. I guess it’s not really universal.
Works only with standard grills
It simply will not work with ceramic Kamado style grills, nor grills that run on gas or electricity.
If you don’t like drilling and DIY setup, you’re out of luck, as that’s the only way to attach it to your grill.
Does not contain user manual
The only genuine disadvantage to this temperature controller is it just works with more typical grills (though any type of sort of them); it does not collaborate with ceramic or Kamado style grills and is additionally inappropriate with barbecue grill and electric grills.
