Very comfortable as compared to the bigger foam earplugs. One of the main reasons why many people prefer these over foam earplugs is that these do not need to be placed deep into the ear canal to work as these form a seal over the ear opening.

Can result in ear pressure if packed too tight in the ear.
The thing that might make you feel disappointed about these earplugs is how tricky they might be to apply at first. You really need to give it a couple of tries (maybe even more) to learn how to put them in correctly, so that they would actually seal your ear and reduce the noise.
Not as effective for active water sports, better for simple swimming.
It was disappointing to still hear the drone of traffic quite clearly with the Mack’s. The low noise reduction rating of 22 dB.
Since the sticky surface gets dirty quickly, these will need to be replaced earlier as compared to other earplugs
Disposable; won't last more than a couple of uses.
More difficult to put in than foam plugs.
Low NRR rating.
It is a little sticky so it could potentially pick up some dust and dirt.
Putty isn’t always the best at keeping out water, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Sticky surface will quickly get dirty, so you’ll need to replace these quicker than most ear plugs
None of the pharmacies or sporting stores carry them where I live, so I consistently have to buy them online via Amazon.
Could be dangerous if caught in the windpipe.
Because the silicone molds to the exact contours of your ears, it means that they aren’t exactly breathable. As a result, sometimes, these plugs may build up pressure in the ear canal, which can be uncomfortable.
