What reviewers liked

Insulated curtains that block most sunlight. Available in a number of stylish colors. Grommets give them an expensive look, though the price is reasonable.
The set includes two panels and six grommets, so you'll have everything you need to set them up with ease. The best part, however, is their light-blocking capabilities. The curtains impede 90 percent of the light and UV rays that come through, while also playing a role in noise reduction and insulating against the elements. Cleaning the curtains is also a breeze—just throw in a cold cycle wash and they'll be good as new.
For your bedroom, these thermal insulated drapes can block up to 99 percent of light, according to the brand. I previously highlighted these curtains as my favorite sleep aid during cold New York winters when I need complete darkness, and Brown agreed they can be a good option for the bedroom. Available in 24 fade-resistant colors and 10 sizes, the brand says they come with two panels per package to accommodate various types of windows and styles.
These are great for protecting floor and furniture from the damaging sun rays. You can wash these in the machine.
Made of heavy microfiber with triple-weave technology, Nicetown Thermal Blackout Curtains are machine-washable, insulating, and energy-efficient. The soft, wrinkle-resistant fabric has a subtle sheen and is available in several colors. We also appreciate that this grommet-style curtain is easy to install and comes in ten different sizes of varying lengths and widths.
Features insulating microfiber layers to simultaneously provide insulation while blocking out light. Each panel features a black yarn layer sandwiched between two microfiber layers, providing insulation against winter cold and summer heat while blocking up to 99 percent of sunlight as well as reducing noise. These curtains feature 1.6-inch grommets, making them suitable for most standard curtain rods.
The curtains hold back 85 to 95% of UV rays. It also diffuses noise due to its triple weave technology. These blackout curtains can balance room temperatures by insulating against summer heat and winter chill. Now, you can not only easily protect your furniture and floors from the sun but will have a well and improved home that is conducive for rest and sleep.
One of the things that we found the curtains really help with, is accentuating the lighting in the room. It prevents any glare effect on the TV or computer screens while viewing, and even reduces the noise coming from outside.

What reviewers didn't like

The lighter colors aren't as effective at room darkening. Some owners weren't happy with the noise filtering ability, and some received panels with uneven measurements and hemlines
Does not have a liner.
The curtains coming in lighter colors don't block as much light as you might expect.
Only blocks 90 percent of light.
We also found that the manufacturer’s claim of 99 percent light blocking was a bit of an exaggeration. While they did a good job of blocking out light and heat, we’d put the percentage closer to 75 to 80 rather than 99 percent. Colors can fade over time.
The panels make it heavier than regular curtains. The stitching is a bit generic.
One thing that irked us about these curtains is that they wrinkle and crease pretty easily. And due to this, these may look worn out after a point of time.
