I love being able to pressure cook the meal and then finish it off with a golden brown, crunchy topping without dirtying another pan or turning on the oven.
When you cook tough meats and ingredients using pressure cooking, it turns into delicious and tender food. Air frying, on the other hand, creates that beautiful crispy crust that we all love. TenderCrisp Technology in the Ninja Foodi makes these two functions work together to create a juicy and tender meal that is also crispy on the outside.
We recommend the Foodi only if you’re set on getting both an air fryer and a pressure cooker and want the two appliances combined.
Putting all that together with this device’s other features like being very easy to use, with a clear to read interface and easy turning knob, plus inserts like the two layer rack, and slightly larger than average interior (8 quart vs the base 6 quart size) and you have a real winner.

Currently, the Ninja Foodi deluxe is only available in an 8-quart size.
Ninja Foodi has an attached, hinged lid that make both cleaning and storing the cooker difficult. The Foodi is also huge and expensive.
For that 2 quart upgrade and the air fryer function, you’re paying a over double the average price of most air fryers on the market right now.
