What reviewers didn't like

Timing can go off on this overlocker, and you may need to bring it into a shop to get it adjusted.
this machine is pretty quiet while working at lower and moderate speeds. But, when it reaches a full speed it gets a bit noisy.
While you can use the Singer Profinish Serger to sew various types of fabrics, including thick materials and also several layers, it does not work very well and does not produce good stitches on very thick fabrics such as reptile skin, etc.
The one issue that we found is that the Singer ProFinish doesn’t work as well with thicker fabrics. The needle doesn’t always penetrate multiple layers of thick denim. This may be an issue if you plan on hemming a lot of jeans.
Some users report having a difficult time threading the machine despite the fact that it has an automatic threading feature.
Machine Overheats Quite Easily
because of the high sewing speed and lack of suction cup at the bottom you will also feel little vibration while stitching at top speed.
A small number of users have stated that their machines tend to overheat.
