Expert Reviews
What reviewers liked
Just a few bucks gets you a reliable and easy-to-use manual opener. The double-hinge makes pulling the cork out of a bottle a simple process.
The design is truly compact; it can fit easily in your pocket.
It has a corkscrew design and comes in a variety of different colors.
The ergonomic contoured steel handle is comfortable to hold.
Its curved handle provides comfort and won’t slip when using it.
It's easy to use the Truetap, and the lever stays in place nicely.
What reviewers didn't like
It does require a degree of physical strength and dexterity that some people may not possess.
However, the foil cutter’s blade is a bit on the small side and doesn’t work as great as others we’ve tried.
The coil is thicker, longer, and less tightly-wound than the plastic corkscrew above, but it was coated with a black coating that has begun to rub off after opening only 10 bottles or so.
