From The Manufacturer

The Control Spray Max sprays materials in patterns from 1/2″ to 12″ wide with optimum control and precision making it superior to brushes and spray cans for fine finish work. HVLP technology uses a high volume of air at low pressure to atomize materials into fine particles. This results in a professional finish, with virtually no overspray.

Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Kit includes compressor and hose.
The Wagner 0518080 has a powerful turbine, which means that this paint sprayer can handle a multitude of materials ranging from thick to thin.
Long hose length to paint the areas which are difficult to access.
It comes with a viscosity cup to measure material density and spray nozzles that let you choose from horizontal, vertical or round spray pattern.
Cleaning this paint sprayer is also rather favorable, as each part of the gun is removable. You can clean the shell, the nozzle, the paint cup and various other parts of the gun easily with no hoops to jump through.
The 20-foot High Flex Air Hose allows you to extend your reach over the typical handheld unit. This helps you to reach even the tightest of areas with ease.
It has a 20 feet air hose for easy spraying and gives a more uniform surface to the furniture.

What reviewers didn't like

Compressor and hose are only compatible with Wagner sprayer.
One of the things we didn’t like it the Non-bleeder type HVLP. The unit blows air continually, and the only function of the trigger is to release the paint.
Build quality is poor and is costly for its class.
May not be suitable for indoors because of some over spraying
Even though this is a great paint sprayer from Wagner, you cannot really count on this sprayer to paint a whole room rather quickly. The cord on this sprayer is rather short, and it rather is designed towards spraying furniture and other smaller objects.
Best used occasionally, not a professional tool
